"...Ciudad's menu is a fantasy, a giddy, Bacardi-fueled Latin American journey ..."
Los Angeles Magazine

"...Now those Too Hot Tamales of cable TV fame have reincarnated City as Ciudad (Spanish for 'city'), a tribute to the cuisine’s of the great Latin urban centers. It's a beguiling idea, and what fun for these two intrepid travelers to create a menu that includes dishes from Havana to Rio de Janeiro, Barcelona to Lima.... This is lighthearted yet gutsy cooking. The kitchen revels in bold flavors and exotic ingredients."
LA Times Magazine

"There is a delicious new restaurant in Los Angeles... the latest enterprise by the celebrity chefs Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger....Ciudad is both an homage to Hispanic culture and a vote of confidence in the future of downtown Los Angeles...."
The New York Times

"This is what I want from a restaurant: food that makes me want to order it again. And every meal I've had at Ciudad has added new dishes to that list... "
New Times LA

"...a Latin free-for-all..."
LA Times

"...Latin American food is the hot, hot cuisine for the opening years of the new century! No one has done more to further this exciting Pan-American food than The Too Hot Tamales, Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger."
